Sabarigiri Punalur in one of the premier institution in the district established in 1994 by our visionary educationist Dr. V. K. Jayakumar with the perennial motto of “Work Win With Truth”. Sabarigiri is looming high in the region since it is based on the strong objective of better education to children which lays the foundation for the successful and fruitful citizen of India. Our journey towards the destined goal has scaled 25 long years. Winning the hearts of thousands of parents and successful children scattered across the world. It is the end product of the great determination, vision, planning and commitment. Today we are so fortunate enough to enjoy the fragrance of the ethos and mythos of Sabarigiri – a great boon to every member of this big family. Years back it was a small and tiny building housing 72 students under the leadership of Mrs. Kanakambika. Some of the land marks during our journey towards excellence are:--

• School affiliation to CBSE in 2002.
• First batch of class X appeared their board exam in 2003.
• Since the first board exam result onwards we are producing the best result in the district till date.
• Higher Secondary batch started in the year 2005
• Jewel Box –Pre KG session started in 2006
• The auditorium, commonly called as Dr. Jayakumar Hall was inaugurated in 2009.
